  • hi!..just a question....should i press enter in order to start rendering my video before burn it to dvd or share it in my computer?...what is the usage of rendering the video?

  • @kras89 Rendering will show you a final product. It incorporates all the effects, edits, etc. that you have made to preview that way it will look when you publish it. If you are going to publish it directly, use share. If you just want to test it, either works.

  • When I use APE7 I used to just do MP4s. Well I have an old computer. Very old XP, but im getting a new computer Windows 7 core i5 . Will it run my Mp4s better. Because I have to convert them into Wmv. But it will lag really bad..I use an Samsung Mx20 that takes videos in format of Mp4/ H264 and it doesnt work..It freezes the video and audio is fine..but I cant edit it, so do you think when I get a new computer with better Ram it will work better with my Mp4s/H264???

  • @UNOAvery More RAM and a modern operating system will make a world of difference to you. Upgrading to PRE 9 will do wonders, too.

  • When i import a video (AVI format) it is just blank and it doesn't play it, any help?

  • @livinwalker I used to have some of that trouble with version 7, too. The newest, version 9, has less trouble with it. I did learn that there are some proprietary versions of avi out there that just aren't right. Your raw material may be part of the problem. If it is, you'll likely have problems with any editor. Try running it through a conversion program and convert it to wmv or mov. If it still won't work, it is probably your raw data.
