This is one of my favorites that Tim plays! I had the chance to hear this live at Memorial Auditorium in Louisville last Spring! Aw God! It sounds supurb! Hauntingly Beautiful!!!

Great, the bells fit to the rest of the organ. Often you hear a recording with a great dissonance.

The composers name is Louis Vierne and he was the organist of Notre dame de Paris.

Love the carillon in the beginning. Good use of stops.

It's not the "I know my redeemer Liveth" tune. Vierne visited London and heard the chimes of the clock of the houses of Parliament in Westminster(which were inspired by Handels tune), hence the name "Carillon De Westminster". He actually wrote them down in the wrong order so when he came to compose they ended up like this. Still a great organ work.

The camera had automatic volume control--totally ruins dynamic endeavors.
