My Question for Barack Obama

Senator, you certainly talk a good game when it comes to pork-barrel projects. In fact, you disclose them on your website. But that doesn't excuse the fact you voted for the Bridge to Nowhere and requested more than $740 million in earmarks just in the last three years. But what really has me upset today is that you asked for $1 million for your wife's employer, the University of Chicago Medical Center. So, my question to you is this: Should it be against the rules to earmark when a clear conflict of interest is involved?

Your party has spent over 15,000 per household on a "War to Now Where." That is using conservative figures. Using the higher estimates, it ranges up to $30,000 per American family. Do the math dude.
