Sometimes new from the factory parts have a little bit of film on the connecting parts that missed trimming that will burn off pretty quickly when you do a build, after you run it for a bit

The last time i got a burning smell in my pc my FX60 in the day burnt out and some pins dettached from the cpu, but the cpu only last 10mins once i noticed the smell anyway so im sure your cpu is fine, or if you have a new psu maybe it could be that.
Anyway look forward to seeing more of your vids.

@CorsairMemoryInc Thanks for the reply, I love it. Altho I do need to get the side glass cut so I can put a GPU cooling fan in. This case doesn't provide enough. I did however was take out the PCI covers to compensate. Works for now.
