A friend and I created this mixed breed of sorts. A Craftsman 46" snow blower attachment mated to a John Deere F910 commercial mower. I call it "The Bastard."

The pto drive shaft comes out offset from center, and rotates in the opposite direction from what the blower required. After welding up some 2" steel and strengthening gussets to attach the blower to the lift arms of the Deere, I fabbed a set of pulleys to center the drive pulley, then used the existing Craftsman vertical pulleys to change the direction of rotation. There's some belt slippage that I will take out by shimming up the drive pulley bearing. There's just no room for an idler there, with the belt doing a 90 degree twist 4 times between the pulleys.
