one is not too young for a time out...they can sit in time out for a minute....my friend's little girl threw fits beyond belief at one, we had to put her in time out to cool down.

1 is too young for a time out. They don't understand it and have no self-control.

I laugh everytime I see this. Connor & Carter keep wanting to see it. Carter is pointing saying Gor, and lii. I hope this is not giving them any ideas. :-)

really? Do you really think this was how our timeouts worked? It was so funny that I grabbed a camera to get a silly clip. It was such a mess, and my youngest was new at timeouts, I had to laugh... and record. Wow- these comments are wacko.

Just to note, the boy was not put in timeout, he just sat there with his sister on his own. I thought it was funny so I grabbed the camera and rolled with it. AND I know that they understand timeout around 18 mos and so we practice a little earlier. Maybe that is just my overachiever kids though. :P
