@kokeshist Problem is they will have to give up their lovely money and power! They have horrendous amounts of the stuff compared to a call centre worker or a single mum, they also have insane amounts of power. We can all only be in one set of clothes, drive one car and be in one house at the same time. We all still want more. I think life will have to get an awful lot worse for the super rich before they budge. Change the word or die trying!

Stuff makes you happy for all of a few seconds! Kids go and riot who can't afford stuff to get 2 minutes of happiness and get locked up. Go find who you are without it.

Well expressed it makes me feel really good knowing more and more people are beginning to feel the same way.....I'm not into any of this sort of spiritual stuff, but I do find it weird that more and more good people seem to be coming together and trying to cause change now in a very significant time.

You'll look even more blithely insouciant and apathetic, which is apparently the way to win any given argument these days. It'd be a hell of a lot easier than actually engaging with the issues.

People who sit around doing soft drugs are just buying their happiness illegally where as most people just go and buy more things! What is the difference? If you cloud your mind with drugs you start liking bands like the Ozric Tentaceles and writing nonessential ramblings not even you believe on You Tube!

Love the shop therefore I am sign! We all buy stuff thinking we are paying for happiness, we are just paying for stuff. We can't take it with us, it clutters our homes and gets us into debt. Problem is it gives billions of people a living (including me.) We are not what we buy but what we think and do, another bloody trinket just distracts from that. Stop spending, start living.
