@jepper511 rinus michels founded totalvoetball not cruyff. cruyff however was the main man in the ajax and netherlands systems and was the one who brought it to barcelona as a player AND a coach, eventually influencing guardiola and hence why tiki taka has roots from totalvoetball.

they had almost the same players under rijkaard but pep had given them a clear identity but you are probably right about them playing together for ages. I have seen the understanding reach telepathic levels at times, that only comes if you know each other inside out, what your teammates will do in a given situation.

But we will see what the ingredient of their success is once pep leaves and also if he can do it with another group of players
