Well, this scene IS pretty sad, it really moved me the first time I saw it..
But I think Atoli's memories was sadder..Although Atoli's voice actor is kinda bad, she did that scene perfectly at least. Soo, for me, that was the saddest part in .Hack//G.U Triology.
As for the saddest scene in ALL GAMES, I'd have to say the scene of The Al Bhed's Home invasion, from beginning to end. Especially the part when Rikku explained everything about Home & then Tidus finding out about Yuna's pilgrimage.

This was the saddest part of the game with the part that shows Shino telling not to cry then Alkaid saying the same thing it made me have tears and then cold chills then Haseo losing it. it makes you think and lets the feeling come out that what made me love this game.

I still cry like crazy whenever i see this.....Alkaid is no dought my favorite gaming character of all time. Seeing her die, it tears me up. Fricken in love with this character, and then she dies. ;( Cried so much when she came back though too! Was soooo glad to have her back! ;)

Meh... Not the saddest. This Tittle belongs to Maya Amano from Persona 2 Innocent Sin.
Still, I was practically in love with this girl when this scene happened =X

His mom and brother dies, and then his brother is revived to become the final boss called Masked Man.
The music is pretty something too...
Some parts in the Wild Arms, Breath of Fire, and Final Fantasy series are pretty sad too. :(
