OK...I like George Clooney...a handsome man..debonair..etc...etc. BUT My One and Only Love was written by Guy Wood & Robert Mellin. These two guys were not gay and they did not write this song for a woman to sing...nor did they write it for the benefit of dedicating it to a man. IT WAS WRITTEN FOR A MAN TO SING ABOUT A WOMAN THAT HE TRULY LOVES. When Ella sang the song Guy Wood went on record to ask her to "leave it alone." Oh and this is Sting from the movie Leaving Las Vegas.

I don't care for Rod Stewart's rendition of the old torch standards. His voice is contradictory to the flow that jazz standards require.
