Ken Jnr may sound cautious, knowing the fate of others before him whose voices were considered too loud, in the dangerous space of Nigerian activism you have to be vigilant. His sombre but tenacious actions to enthrone regime of enviromental and social justice in Nigeria is on right step and what is left of our government is to listen to positive advices that solves the problems once and for all.
i,m not quite impressed with saro wiwa jnr.....he raises issues in the government but not actually issues of the people.......the press is the most important tool in any democracy...so even the government which he claims he works for is not as important as the press
cause the press is the only organisation that could represent the people and not the government.........it is just so sad how people loose focus on the plight of the people once they get into important positions.....
I found that he articulated his position within Government very well. I very much hope that his imput can make a difference but more importantly that the Ogoni People's plight and aspirations are not silenced either, especially when we consider this views on Environmental issues.
Otherwise a great coup for Sahara TV, in terms of having recorded this interview.
