That's a complete LIE -- and YOU need to educate yourself. The United States has had this category since the year 2000. African-American (AA) congressman (John Conyers) and the National Black Caucus (along w/ the NAACP & many other AAs) LED THE DRIVE to have the category added to US government forms. England did not have it until 2001. The US was / is way ahead of the UK when it comes to Mixed-Race rights.

A lot of mixrace people are unhappy with themselves because their parent lack the knowlegde they need to know about race issues that clearly still exist. You are what your GENETICS say you are. I'm mixrace because my mother is white and my dad black, but my complexion is brown. Therefore I'm a brown man. Fact. Once you are realistic and stick to the facts then nobody can contradict you. And being mixrace isn't gonna stop me from telling the truth because truth has no colour.

You are a human first, then you are a colour.

@mwtwyman I'm not mixeded, but I agree with you. I don't like when people try to give or force them into picking one side of another. I always thought it was kind of silly to call them half of what they are. But I do know some black and white people who call mixed people black.

1 of 2 @312CLIQ I said that Obama "appears" to be blk & therefore was always treated as a blk man. T hat's why he identifies with being a black person. He still understands that he is biracial though. I spoke about looking like I'm mixed &ppl like me can't say they're blk or wht w/out raising some eyebrows. If u look wht or blk then choosing to be or identify with that race is an option but if you look like a lot of mixed ppl -- a blend of both races, you look crazy saying ur one or the other
Part 4: You are also wrong about there not being a mixed race category in the US. There is and many people identify with that title. I can tell you first hand that the Euro perception on race is quite diff. than the US's. You don't have our history, our racial issues. My mother is Polish, I go to Europe all the time and I know that their views are different from the US's. Visit the NAACP and read some books about race in the US before making vids that criticize too harshly. Ur guessing at best.

@mwtwyman Well the part where i said that there wasnt a Mixed-racce categorie was based on things i was told so my bad on that but you are contradicting yourself:First you say Obama identifies as a Black man because he was treated like one his whole life then you say Bi-racial people cant consider themselfes as Black or White?
I say the way most Bi-racial identify is based on their parents and their surroundings also i did list a username but why give them undeserved attention?

2 of 2 @312CLIQ You say that biracial ppl choose to identify based on their parents & surroundings...that won't work if you're a dark complexioned mixed person and you are growing up with a wht parent in a wht neighborhood. You identify based on how ppl treat you. You don't want to give undeserved attention to mixed ppl who are racist? How is it undeserved if you're proving a point? Giving one person's screen name while saying there are MANY ppl like that is not evidence. Prove what ur saying.

@mwtwyman That wont work if you're a dark complected mixed person living in a white neighbourhood?
Thats bull if you have a white parent that parents responsiblity is to inform you about who you are on top of that you just said white neighbourhood doesnt that count as a surrounding? stop proving my point please....

you said you are what your parents are and raise you to be? what if you are black and raised by all whites, only being around all white people your whole life? does that make you white even though you have black skin? do you really think people are going to mistake you as white?

When i said that i meant Biological parents but either way if you are adopted by a family of a different ethnicity (although you're skin colour doesnt change) usualy you're morals and outlook on life will usualy be the same as the family that adopted you (unless you are thought otherwise) i personaly have met African children that have been adopted and most of them didnt know they were ''different'' until they were told by their parents or others.
