Dropstuff.nl at the Venice Biennale 2009

Dropstuff.nl has been invited to take part in the 53rd International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia as collateral event. From June 2 -7, 2009, during the opening days of the biennale, Dropstuff.nl set up the gigantic 60 square meters LED screen on the pier between San Marco and Giardini (Riva Ca di Dio). Dropstuffs main focus in Venice was to show a new generation of artists and designers, who approach the audience in a direct manner. No white museum walls, but interactive art in public space. By using SMS, bluetooth, touch screen and sensors, the audience was participating in the art work.
