"Richard Crenna," was absolutely awesome in this scene.

The casual "Sam Trautman," that you mention here, specifically he is portraying a hardened combat veteran, that rose up through the ranks.. Hence, his demeanor is personable at first, even casual, then he emphasizes the fact that he is a Colonel... You'll never hear a West Point or Academy grad, talk so casual... But You will hear Mustang's speak with this kind of casual tone, demeanor... God Rest his soul

In the book that this movie is "based" on, Rambo was a f*cking psychopath. he kills ALL the deputies, quite gruesomely i might ask, and also a good many of those soldiers that they bring in to catch him. i hated how they made him a freakin pussy in this.

this movie is a terrible adaptation of the book. book is soooo much better than this crap. oh and by the way the line "its amazing he allowed any of your posse to live" is bull shit because, um, HE FUCKING DOESNT! HE KILLS THEM ALL EXCEPT TEASLE WHO ESCAPES! HE DOSNT LET THE FUCKERS LIVE!
