Excellent; your shading is impressive..

@ihateboys011086...just be careful not to trash your brushes! letting acrylic paint dry on a brush is great way to, well, not have a brush anymore.

How do you keep your paint so wet? mine always dries too much by the time i clean the brush and get the next color i want. thin it with water?

@dylandominicgrady I use a particular brand of acrylics: liquitex. You can find it in most art supply stores. They tend to dry much slower than most other brands. You can always use things to thin the paint...or just make sure you're in an area without much wind or blowing air. And work quickly :) Oils are always another options...but they are the polar opposite of acrylics. They take weeks to dry but the finished product has a glossier, richer look.

Also, use multiple brushes. That way when you change colors you don't have to wait to clean the brush.

@JustMBWorks Wow! Thank you!! :) I'm so glad you like. I need to finish this one but with work and life, it becomes difficult to sit down and paint for hours. But I think you comment may have just inspired to me to finish it. :) Thank you

Are you using a canvas?
TheUniqueshadow 2 years ago
@TheUniqueshadow yes, pre-stretched canvas bought from an art supply store. an art teacher of mine used to build the wooden frame and stretch and prime the canvas herself..i guess it was cheaper in the long run but not nearly as convenient as just buying the pre-stretched which come in hundreds of sizes now.
