This sounds sorta like the theme for Schindler's List. Maybe this was a subconscious influence for John Williams when he was writing the score. o_O
At any rate, Tchaikovsky is humanity's greatest musical gift. A shame this gift is not appreciated much in this day and age.

Tchaikovsky always wanted and wished to be remembered for his music. He never looked for personal fame and frecuently suffered for things which he considered " Shameful" escaped from people who always wished to see him destroyed.. sorrowfully they were more than he thought and they were everywhere. Pyotr Tchaikovsky is not a composer, is not a melody creator. Tchaikovsky is the music itself, and even though he is not physically he went on being everyday in the world.
