Risperdal is an anti-psychotic. Just FYI. Be careful with SSRI anti-depressants. Unless you enjoy sex, I would not recommend it.

@boingokky I know that is what I said in the video is that it is an anti-psychotic. I luckily don't have sexual side effect with the prozac. If anything I have it from the other meds but I know how to avoid it. I have another video called psych med sex tip if you would like to see.

I took Lamictal, it was awesome! I felt so normal on it..but guess what...I got the rash :( So the one drug I actually felt pretty dang good one I get the stupid rash..ugh. Go fig right? LOL. Now im on Triletal. It is helping some, but I'm just starting out, hopefully with higher dose it will help a lot like Lamictal did.

My problem is mood swings and I have bi polar and at times really really bad paranoia. I take Risperdal also. It has been super super hard on my because I am taking heavy dosage of interferon and it really really is hard fighting it in my mind because it really trys to make my paranoia much worse and anxiety it is so hard for me to take interferon because of my psychological condition but I have hepatitis c and I have no other choice because its aggressive. But Risperdal I must have a Godsend.

I think the exact same way.. i create reasons to dislike myself and if something bad happens i let it ruin my whole day. thanks for these vids its nice to kno im not alone im not weird or crazy. yeah its really easy to start thinkin you need boose or bud hang in there. good luck! take care.

so i take 1 mg risperidone every night, 25mg zoloft every morning, so far not feeling anything. is there something wrong? also, i know the zoloft takes about 3-5 weeks to kick in, will it give bad side effects as far as sexual dysfunction?

This is a dumb question, but is Buspar usually taken only as needed (like you mentioned) or is it a daily medication like Paxil? I'd never heard of Buspar until a little over a week ago. I'm already on Paxil and Xanax, but I still have problems with anxiety. My psychiatrist prescribed Buspar for me and said to take two pills every day. I figured that it was a daily medication like Paxil.
