not hardly, and they instituted the mercenaries because 99% of the people who play are hardcore max level chars, so if you are trying to level a character anymore it is very difficult...no groups.

haha the game's graphics have barely changed? lol dude the game to be tons of blocks put together to make people and stuff. Pls these graphics and he old ones are what brings memories back to people who played it back when because this game out in 1997 this game's graphics were amazing

Well the ones who created WoW played EQ, but there is one thing they did succeed. Better graphics. At least leveling up is easier in WoW so. So please do not ditch it, if you don't want others to ditch EQ.

What I like to get is, why is the graphics so....bad? I mean I never played (only hear it from my friends) but the graphics barely changed since the game came out...I am not saying everything has to look gorgeous but...damn. Work on it a little bit better? The girls looks scary looking.

Fuck WoW, way over rated...made for little kids.
Everything in WoW...EQ does 100 times better. After playing both...WoW is basically an EQ ripoff.

Yes, because graphics define gameplay. God forbid someone play a game for fun, in their entire life. No one should ever Play Super Mario World or Legend of Zelda for SNES anymore, because they have less than par graphics, compared to games 10 times newer than they are. Good logic there idiot.
WoW is all about grpahics, and childish ones at that. The gameplay sucks, and there's nothing challenging about the game. Why on earth would you get experience from something 60 levels below you?

I have played both they have barely anything in common,everquest is a much wider and much more developed game in my opinion. Of course everyone has its tastes but EQ for me still remains the best MMORPG I have ever played!

That's because it's 10 years older (more mature), has had a multitude of expansions that WoW has, has an insanely large world, has proper dungeons... I could go on...
