If you remove your original hard drive can you put it in another PS3, upgrading from fat to slim as I can't backup or copy some stuff cause it copyright protected
Can you use any size 2.5 inch HDD? Does it have to be 5400RPM or can it be 7200RPM?

@stopwhining1 Only use 2.5". The hard drive can be 7200RPM but it is recommended to stick with 5400RPM. The difference performance wise is slim to none. Also, the stock hard drive is 5400RPM so again, it's just recommended to stick with original specifications.

@Dutchley Thanks, but when I said any size, I meant storage size (as in capacity, like 500GB, 1TB, etc) I can use any capacity as long as its a 2.5 inch SATA HDD right?

@stopwhining1 Storage size can be anything. If you need 1TB, no problem!
