Yes,I'm for green energy too.But Make it affordable for middle class or low income people.It's just another way to rip people off.There is no need to be greedy to go with green technology.Seems like a new thing but it's very old and it's possible to sell it at much lower cost!Make it wanted,not hated!

To the negative comments...

1. As soon as 'turned on' quality solar systems start paying for themselves NO OTHER home applicance can do that.

2. Unlike cheap water heaters, solar collectors will last 30 years+

3. Home made equipment will not last = poor fittings, rotting wood, gawd awful attachment to home, lousy aesthetics, negative or zero added value to home.

4. Quality systems will add to the value and resale of the home, not to mention real displacement of greenhouse gasses.
