loved this programme..listened every week...Saturday morning...9am I think. some great stories helped along by the voice of John.....Would be great to hear all recordings you have - go to the trouble it would be worth hours of great entertainment for loads of people.... johns successors on this programme whilst good just just lacked that something!

Peel opened my eyes to some brilliant music, and it really is true to say that I am who I am partly because of him. I'm reading 'Margrave...' at the moment, and I feel I would've liked to have known him. I never listened to 'Home Truths' - so,please, post if you can. Thanks.

I have dozens of hours of john Peels last few radioshows on the BBC. I wonder if anybody would like to hear them?
I'm thinking of converting them frm tape to the internet for prosperity and would be happy to put them online gratis. Anybody interested? (just to gauge whther it's worth the trouble).
