  • what's the weight of one cubic meter of spruce slabs with 15% of moisture ?

  • @pavolpi Average dry weight of spruce is 291 pounds per cubic foot, or 470 grams per cubic meter. At 15% moisture it will be higher.

  • How long do you wait for it to dry?

  • Drying time will depend on conditions where you live, but as a rule you have to allow one year per inch of thickness of material. Some folks who air dry say add another year to that. So 2-in. thick stock could take up to three years to dry.

  • What's the best product to coat your ends with?

  • u guys still waitin there? ha ha ha

  • @wwgoaeditor you mean 470 kilograms not grams, right ?

    thank you for the information.

  • yeah it's ridiculous that you left out the drying time in the vid

  • Nice videos. Thanks for posting them

  • should it really be a concern as to time rather the woods moisture content as indicated on the meter? What moisture content is ready to be made into furniture??

  • how long to dry should be part of the video, as it is obviously important.

  • How about sandbags for weighing down?
