yeah thats a real sham paul , ive been following halifax rlfc since i was 6 and know im 20 , theyve done good in the 09 season shame they lost to barrow inn the final . they outplayed us for once. better luck in the 2010 season.

I was at this game and was fantastic.
It was the final game before the 1st test, hence the almost full strength Aussie side.
After the game Laurie Daley said it was one of the hardest games he had played in England .
It included 3 local lads, Smith, Perrett, and Jonny Lawless.
Happy days.
Greg Florimo ended his career with us a few years later.

I used to go to Thrum Hall in the 80s to watch Halifax, such a shame that the ground is now an Asda Supermarket... sacrilege.

sure is sacrilege....everytime i go up there i still think about the games i saw up there.You can still see an old turnstile.

they look pretty good for a club side. hey do you know whats the differance between england and great britian. because great britian has a good rugby league history. but england not so much.

Halifax used to be half decent but play in a lower league now...National League 1
