@bernard1422 I didn't know that there was much criticism heaped on him; if there is, there shouldn't be. He has a great voice and can act too as his superb performance in this production show.

adrian cracks me up.

Keenlyside gives brilliant performances throughout DIE ZAUBERFLOETE I certainly don't know why there's so much criticism heaped upon him. As an interpreter of Mozartian music he is exceptional and singular. I also love his duet from DON GIOVANNI with Christine Schaefer, LA CI DAMEN LA MANO

charming... These two singers really capture the simple, pure spirit that is pamina and papageno... they are just adorable... :D

They don't seem very smart. I mean, Sarastro is about to come and all that they will do is sit down and sing?

I think I love him ; ;

Opera and the modern day musical are the same in my book...they have stories, ideas, music, chereography, drama, silliness and seriousness and if you're lucky you can learn something about yourself and the human race, as well as vast assortment of topics, and is meant to entertain and enlighten...surely Mozart is in the same boat as Sondheim...at least to me!

Awesome! Both the beautiful production and the duet, as well as the duck.
