@number9rico A mt fighter would hold like this?
-
@number9rico one question why are there always people like you who have to find some negative things to put on instructional videos ? If you already know all these then why are you watching ^^. And personally, I think the guy wants you to put the hands down whenever you feel the knee coming. This message does not include any offense just at least don't exaggerate =/

I have a question. When the attacker "steps in", isn't a hard push to his shoulders enough to knock him over? It looks like the defender can throw a knee at him too.
-
it reminds me of a John Jones greco takedown

I like this technique, the quick transition to side control looks good. Breaking the clinch like that looks ok too, (when stationary) but anyone who has been dominated in a clinch knows that you are being thrown off balance, its not that simple. The side control to knee on chest strikes is not a realistic transition either, and would morelikley lead to a situation in which both parties grapple for a position. So, the armbar is wishful thinking. Anyway, still looks cool.

Ultimatly if someone has a very storng tai clicnh on you you want to make sure there is no space. If you let your opponent make space on you you're ganna get knockout out. Grab underhooks and hold it until you can get a take down. It is very uncomfortable with him putting so much pressure on your neck but its alot better than getting knocked out
