Ryan & Monica get "married" on the Magic Kingdom's Main Street, U.S.A.

The day before our wedding -- and on Day 11 of our brief engagement -- the guys in our wedding party were getting haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop. While waiting outside for them to finish up, I spotted Fire Chief Smokey Miller posing for photos with kids and asked if Ryan would join me in a picture! (I'd never seen the character before.)

Noticing our "Just Engaged" buttons, he asked if we'd set a date yet, and we let him know that we were actually getting married the next day! When he heard this, he told us, "Nope, we're going to marry you today, right here. I'm gettin' the mayor."

And sure enough, not five minutes later, Smokey turned up with Mayor Weaver ... and even brought Victoria and Hildegarde to act as my bridesmaids!

HUGE thanks to the Walt Disney World cast members who made this such a magical experience for us!!
