I find it sad that people don't give credit where it's due. They thank "god" and never the hundreds of people that actually gave them support, or who built the equipment that helped them to lead a normal life.
I don't have an issue if he wants to preach, nor that he wants to thank his god. Frankly I don't care what he or anyone else believes.
Just give credit where credits due.

@WinterWeaver where did he get the energy from to save himself? Where do you get the energy from to think, to give your opinion? The only proof of wind is through feeling it and seeing results of it, otherwise it, too, is a non-existing entity. You have a belief, and so does he. What I find sad isn't your lack of belief in a "non-existing" entity, but the fact you're sad because Scott has a different belief system than yours.

No dude, give credit where credit is due. _You_ saved yourself. What about the Scientists and Engineers that have worked for years to make the lives for amputees better. Without them your prayers would fall on deaf ears.
Praise the people that helped you. Praise yourself for breaking through your barriers. I see no need to praise some non-existing entity here

@klassakt311 I realize that you have to defend your position, so I will try and help you with your question. I would ask you to read the Book of Job and realize that God doesn't cause suffering. It is Satan that is the bringer of pain and suffering, so the answer to your question is No,,,Jesus didn't cause him to lose his legs. My question to you has to be what has made you hate God so much that you attack Scott's faith and mine? Is it us, our faith??? God bless you.

According to Bible, God doesn't cause suffering--Satan does (see the Book of Job). Look how this man has taken the situation given him. Philippians 4:12-13 reads, "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." That is what Scott has said himself he stands for. How would we act?

it's because of Jesus he is able to do this....and that is why is he speaks about Him. Please look at life as Scott has, and realize that this is his ministry for Christ. Simply AWESOME testimony!
