@NamesROverated Cesium can be combined with nitrogen to make optical glasses. Cesium salts are also used for strengthening various typed of glass. It can be used to boost the performance of metal oxides. So cesium does have a use, maybe to make people see better. But we drop it into water. xD Maybe everything's a waste from a view.

@nickcorn93 how is it a waste? there really isn't much you can do with it. And by your standards, the science department at schools waste this metal when they demonstrate this.

There's no way this is cesium. That's about as strong as our class' potassium reaction. Plus, Cs is a bit expensive for a home video version.
