If you can't handle balls of steel, play with your plastic bocce balls on your manicured lawn, it is nice start. After a few years you might learn enough to play Petanque. Until then just stay with your rolling game, it is complex enough for some.

So, it's exactly like bocce, but with fewer and smaller balls. Yep, must've been invented by the french.
