Going home after 155km rural ride on a recumbent bike. The rural part all looks the same, trees moving by quickly. The urban part is a bit more interesting with various cars and traffic hazards.

  • nice trick the mirrors on the wrist

  • Yeah, they're very handy. I read about them online somewhere. They're sold as "stick on" enhancements to side view mirrors, and they have a plastic back which overhangs the mirrors' edges. So I pierced the plastic at the edge and sewed them onto my gloves.

    Cheers, fellow speed demon.

  • Dude, that's awesome! I love seeing you ride a Nocom in traffic.

Why the shoes though? That bike is crying for some proper road shoes. What about Bont cycling shoes - the lightest there are?

  • Bonts look like they're from the future.

I'll eventually get a proper pair of cycling shoes but that was just my 6th or 7th day riding the NoCom so I'm not ready to click in. Toe clips next.

BTW You have a good eye spotting the NoCom given that it is barely visible.

    Cheers, fellow velo-videographer.

  • Haha, I noticed you took out the uphill part south of York Mills. That intersection is scary, yet fun to get to.
