They used to play in Jersey City at Roosevelt Stadium too, in the summer and the Capitol theater in Passaic too, a small venue!

I just checked my ticket stubs, I was there for this--- I dont remember it but I was there. Betcha I had a great time. Us East Coast deadheads were blessed - The Spectrum was 50 minutes away - The Meadowlands were 50 minutes away - MSG was 1 hour away - Nassau was 1 1/2 hours away. Living in Central NJ was a perk as a deadhead. " There's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert "

I enjoy listening to the sounds that come from the speakers when the grateful dead manipulate the various parts of their instruments to produce a harmonious sound and send it via cables to amplifiers. It's like music to me.
