@JD7irrus Mine came over with a group of six bulldogs in a set of containers. The wings and stabs were removed for shipping. My dad and I assembled all 6 of them and did the certification process. On mine, we stripped it and repainted in original swedish camo. It's a great plane, I love owning it! I've got about 250 hrs in it now.
Not one of mine, but I'll wager it came across with one of my friends... Actually the bulldogs were my first 4 ferry flights, took them to LA. I did about 30 crossings before I chickened out and got a job with an airline. Saw many amazing sights! I wrote an article about the first bulldog, if you like I could send it to you. How do you like your machine? I loved them, despite the lack of auto!
@JD7irrus It is. This was SE-LND, now N104MR. How many hours did you rack up during those flights!? I've read about those crossings. I think an autopilot would have been nice on a trip like that.
Hey, is this a Swedish Bulldog? Just wondering because I ferried SE-LNP, SE-LNM, SE-LNG and SE-LNL across to the states. I recognise the cockpit instruments as I stared at them for thousands and thousands of miles!! Kudos on the Edwards landing, always wanted to go there... Never gonna happen though.
