Magnetic Floating Globe
No, it's not an optical illusion- the globe is really levitating! The Floating Globe is the perfect novelty item for anyone with a curiosity streak. Fits perfectly in any office, home, or classroom setting! The globe uses magnets, not air, to levitate, and therefore you can pass your hands above, below, and around it, and leave everyone amazed that the globe is "magically" still afloat!
Even better, the globe can be substituted with any suitable metallic object, and the electromagnetic in the base will suspend it in midair!

• A Great item for Decoration, Party Supply item or a gift for a friend
• Beautiful black & chrome base
• Silent operation

Notes from Manufacturers

  • @Spright0 good luck then

  • ha africa was messed up

  • @edward35941 haha, you are smart, that is one hint for magic globe floating - you must ensure the Northern and Southern Hemispheres are in the right place.

  • it doesn't show how to make it

  • @c12231 when you put the globe on the base, you will find a balance point. then you will know it.

  • I have a science fair in two days and I just wanted to know what kind of magnet you used to make it float. and if you put it together, how did you do it?

  • It has been a REALLY LARGE EARTHQUAKE and Africa has been splited into 2 piecies!!!

  • @ankakaCOM haha i love how you can't be bothered, keep up the good work.

I hate people who are like ''WhAHAHA IM GONNA COPY YOUR IDEAAAAA"'

  • @Level10Imp Can I guess? I'm dutch: Then is used when you want to point a time(happening) and than is used when you make something compare to something?

Was it right? Well, sorry than for @Spright0 ...

  • so cool

  • @Spright0 Cool, well, you know what?

I know the difference between then and than ^___^

  • and where is the tilt the magnet in side of the globe shouldnt be directly on the pole

  • why do you need to plug it in couldn't you just get a normal magnet it just takes electricity if you dont need the magnet to corect its self so the globe magnet will stay in the same spot

  • I have one of these.

To make it spin continuously, I added a tiny magnet to the edge of the floating magnetic plate.

The resulting interference with the electronics causes a series of corrections that induces rotation during the flotation.

Maximum coolness is accordingly achieved :) .
