  • Dude you're wasting your time George Lucas has no interest in what his fans want.

  • @MrBuc128 Sadly true. At least Spielberg does it right with the DVD/Blu-ray release of his movies, offering all the various cuts that are available ie: E.T. and Close Encounters. Would be nice if he had a little chat with his good buddy George about that sort of thing...

  • Can u do a in depth review for series 2 please

  • @bringeroffunerals It's funny you ask right now, since I'm actually right in the middle of watching it. :) Perhaps I'll do that. Would likely just be one part, though, since I've already pretty much covered the history...

  • @Bookaswede In Australia its like $125 AUD.

  • You are absolutely right about the original aspect ratio.

Unfortunately, tv sets in electronic stores here in Germany often display 4:3 content distorted to 16:9. I just don't get it. If they want to show-off widescreen tvs and don't like pillar boxing they just shouldn't use 4:3 content. What I really find astonishing is that many people don't even seem to see the difference.

  • You're not very good in french are you ?

  • @MissRetroPink

I'm the type of person who only watches things once. So I always buy the best quality. Hence the blu-ray consideration.

If I wanted less quality, I could very easily just get all Star Trek TVs and Movies for free. It's the internet, afterall.

  • @smartwarlord If you're worried about liking it or not, you can actually watch The Original Series (all three seasons) for free at CBS.com. I think they own it now? Not sure about that, but if you don't mind sitting through some commercials, it will give you a great idea if you like it or not! I love it personally!

    Hi, I'd like your advice.

I'm under 20, and have never watched any Star Trek, either movie or tv. I know next to nothing about Star Trek. I know about as much about Star Trek as someone in Angola, despite being an American living near Hollywood.

So, handing over $180 for the first 3 seasons seems a bit pricy. (even knowing the price history from your videos)

So would you recommend I buy the first season to try Star Trek? Or?

  • Hi. You are very informative..

  • I think I can explain the cosmos thing (which translates to Space Rangers more or so). The airing of Star Trek in Quebec happen to coincide with the appliance of the law for the protection of french, which means in order to be aired, TV shows had to be titled partialy or completely in french. That's why it's called like that, but frankly, nobody gives a fuck here and just call Star Trek.

  • I just got the Blu Rays because of you. And it is worth it. it did cost a little more than 60 though

  • @morath11 By the way I can do the 4:3 version or 16:9 version. Or so it looks like. I'm not sure. I just know the original version looks like VHS crap
