Dale Johnston was convicted and sentenced to death in Ohio for a crime someone else committed- the murder of his step-daughter. Dale traveled to Harrisburg in support of a death penalty moratorium in PA.
Dale Johnson was NOT found not guilty in court. The court under appeal chose not to retry him at that time because of the death of a witness in the case and other technical problems. He could still be charged ans retried in this case. I just make this observations because of what he said about being found not guilty. He was not found not guilty.
I'm not sure having an admitted child molesting sex offending PEDOPHILE talk about the evils of the death penalty was a good choice. In his trial he DID admit to having sexually molesting and having sex with the step daughter that 3 judges found him guilty of murdering. But I notice he didn't mention that in his speech.
