A non-overclocked ASUS N10J-A1 running ArmA: Armed Assault. Mission name is 'Into Enemy Territory'. Notice that N10J is on battery; Turbo mode of P4G Hybrid engine is off, so machine runs on default 1.6GHz clock speed (check the core speed reading on CPU-Z). GPU non-overclocked, uses default nVidia drivers.

I recorded this using a Sony DSC-S85 digital camera. Original video is 320x240 pixels @ 25 frames per second so pardon if you see a lot of annoying woozy movements or vertiginous frames in the YouTube-processed video.

  • how much is an asus n10 j here in pinas?

  • 36K last time na pag check ko sa TipidPC at PC Corner online. Hindi ko lang ho alam sa ibang shops kung magkano na cya ngayon.

  • The models released here kasi has no finger print scanner e, planning to buy one this comming Feb. 40k nga sa greenhills, 36k is the lowest so far in gilmore and manila... thanks for the info sana bumaba pa prices dito hehehe

  • No probs. Yun yung 'sikat'.

  • Cool. Beats the shit out of my hunk of junk. I bought it the September before ArmA came out, I got it for less than £900, but it was listed in other places at £1250!!

Video card wasn't up to scratch and I can barely run it, even on very low settings. The campaign is unplayable.

    Stay away from HP laptops!

  • What particular HP model are you using?

I bought the game a month ago without even running a demo on the ASUS N10J-A1. Good thing the game runs pretty well especially after the international 1.14 update. There are certain missions where you'll notice sluggish gameplay. Overclock N10J to 1.8 or 2.0GHz and you're done. Finished the game with help from a self-modified 'bin.pbo' file. Not a real God-mode though since character is bullet-proof except when mounted on machine guns/howitzer.

  • goog to see the some pinoys are playing arma

  • i am using 2 monitors on my pc.

would it be possible to create a mod that enable to use them both for arma in this way:

first monitor: normal arma as usual, second monitor: map screen (the one you get, when you press"M"),

like a big GPS kinda screen.

    wouldn't that be great?

  • HP Pavillion 8387ea. I wouldn't want to overclock the little **** because it burns the hell out of me after 90 minutes of play, and short of dipping the thing in vegetable oil or using dry ice there's no real space for any decent cooling in the case.

When I replace it later this year I'm going to send it back (in pieces) to HP Europe with a lump of dog poo in the package.... I've had to put up with their shit for three years now they can put up with mine.

  • From Canadacomputers equivalent to Php 28, 848 when purchased 2 months ago. I don't use the finger print scanner and facial recognition feature. Ako lang naman kasi gumagamit. I've seen shops at Greenhills, San Juan selling N10J for about Php40,000. Masyadong mahal.
