  • Viva JME! I dare say its rendering engine beats Ogre3D.

  • can jMonkey have sun flares, bloom or DOF (depth of field)?

  • very cool video and good music! I like it!

  • .. the fact that it's java barely affects the outcome. JME3 uses pure virtual buffer objects, where shaders run completely in video memory and on the co processor. Most of the graphics-intensive work of jme3 is not done by the jvm.

  • @alekmosingiewicz Umm... it's java dude. It looks really good but it's not better then ogre3d. tell that to the developers at bethesda

  • @xXEduBuntuXx Make whatever you are building into an applet and put it in your web pages with HTML. That is what applets are for.

  • @zvuk

No JME doesn't beat Ogre. Not even close!

And no Ogre can a lot more and is very easy to use.

Alone the model part is much easier in Ogre then in JME.

  • @alekmosingiewicz i dont know if jME beats Ogre in all ways but i know this. jME beats Ogre in usability, coz i never managed to compile a single project in Ogre but with jME its waaay easier.

  • Very impressive!

  • did you really ask that and expect to have it answered in the space of a comment?
