My son is now 3 and a half years old with no problems what-so-ever! After his original surgery at birth, he had another at 3 months to repair a slight hernia. Other than that, he's a normal boy fighting with his older brother all the time! Don't give up on the pregnancy... having my son was soo worth that fight.

no it isnt really a 1 in several thousands of babies that can get gastroschisis, when our daughter was born around 2 years ago, there was about 10 other babies with the same thing. just gotta be strong for ur babies dont give up the drs. all try get u to terminate ur pregnany n tell u that the baby wont live passed 3 months or so. our daughter looks like a baby that was born normal she just has a feeding tube comeing out under her shirt but when she has her breaks no one would even know.
