A LIFE-LIKE (not bachmann, twats) Santa Fe freight engine (#3500) putters its way along my track setup in the basement. apologies on how the power sputtered a bit

Yes I know this engine fails, and thus, it has been retired. No need to post random comments concerning Bachmann or the quality of the model. These comments will be removed.

I am actually surprised this got 23,000 views. C'mon people!

  • it could be a dead spot in the track, that has been happening on my layout lately as im waiting on ballast. the track is only pinned down and can move around a lot.

  • perhaps, Im in the process of replacing my track over the next few months, the oldest parts are many years old

  • is that #3500 or 6067 my because friend has #3500 i have #6067

  • Its #3500. I got it in a set

  • Ever going to make a layout? That'd be cool to see!

  • hey nice engine with the track i have same track same problems

  • @tycoonkid9 DCC Powered.

  • @tycoonkid9 no its not

  • how much u want for it?

  • its battery operated

  • I have that exact same loco, I believe it's a gp 38-2. It runs pretty good after not being used for over 14 years. It's a little noisy though.

  • i have the same engine but it's not a Santa Fe. Mine sputtered all the time after "someone" had messed around with it. I ran it at 80% for about 25 minutes foward & backwards. After that the engine ran much smoother and is as good as new
