Oh Cccain is this particular guys "kind of republican." And he couldn't stand by and watch his man lose to a fellow republican who beats him by the rules? Sorry, outside of your own world that justification simply doesn't fly.
The delegates won their seatings fair and square. What is the purpose of hosting a convention if it is simply a pony show for the chairman's preferred candidate?
Perhaps the neocons should try finding their own candidate who can energize the base? Very Unlikely.

I think his point is that McCain won the state by a very large percentage and he didn't like the RP people stepping in and overriding the majority-selected candidate.
