just gettin at some of your older videos Pete!.....man I tell ya. Too bad Jeff didn't work out man. Seemed to actually enjoy what he was doing, and thorough as well.
Anyway, well done Pete on the BLACK!!!!! my bike tins are black and I am absorbing as much of your wet sanding and buffing work as I can....love the 1200-1500-2000-4000 approach.....worth every minute you put into it!

To make us feel better can you tell us that your paying the sander more than 16 and hour

I`m in the process of buffing some bodywork,I`ll upload my progress on the project when I get a chance sorry for that Pete been busy,
I thought I would get away with just color sanding in 1000 but the scratches still show,so its 2000 and 4000......
Thanks for these galxie videos,I also found that using a sponge instead of dipping the block and paper in the bucket is the proper way.
God Bless You.

3M swirl mark remover on a black waffle pad???

Yes.. After you buff your car out with the wool pad you want to go back and buff it again at a lower speed with the swirl mark remover and black waffle pad. Make sure you wash your car off of all buffing compound before doing the second buff.. Thanks Pete

pete best videos ive seen have a question . i have a 1964 dodge polara . it was my younger brothers car . he passed away and would really like to get the car back on the road the last time it started was 2 yrs ago it needs some rust repair brakes i had a man work on the brakes he didnt do any good but take my money can you give me someadvice on how to get started thanks sal

The first thing I would do is get some solid estimates from a 'ONE STOP SHOP" that has a good strong reputation and know what they are doing. I would get everything done to the car in "ONE PLACE", This way if there is anything wrong you only have to deal with one person. Try to hold off on "DEPOSITS" up front, till you actually see them working on your car. This is a good way to LOSE YOUR MONEY.... That's where I would start If it was me... Thanks Pete
