theres a entirely new distributor in it, new plugs and wires, (this is when i first started it after a huge overhaul) maybe ill put that restorere thing formula in it, there never was A/C on it, and the original carb was a rochester q-jet 2 barrel, and the original motor was a 250 six with a 4speed( i wish i could get those back)

A 383 stroker will beat a 305, its not a stock 305, (307 + hp and 340 torque), also lets get this straight, im 15 years old, this is my first car, so of course its the nicest car too me, that's how it always is, at least I didn't go out and buy a Honda civic (or 350z:S) I don't care if our 383 its a hell of allot more powerful, I also think a 350z is a ricer, (my opinion). Why the hell do you even see it to be so important to pick on a 15 year old with a ruff shape Camaro with a hypo 305 in it?

hey man i have a 85 monte carlo ss had 305 in it untill i put a 350 in it my 305 had over 200,00 miles on it and would still shit and get even smoked plenty of them ricers with it if you want a tip get yourself a eldelbrock 600cfm carb trow it on there will run a litle rich but ill tell u that it will even give u more power :) i had it on mine ran great and always would shit and get always remember never buy junk ass rice american chevy all the way 305s are the true little engine that could

i have chevy 305 with edelbrock tunnel ram and (2x holley 450 carbs )

chevy v8 305 is good engine.good luck with scool racing, from norway

My camaro is running a 305.... Ok maybe it has 300 hp to the rear wheel at 400 ft lbs of torque but its the numbers matching block for my 79 maro. Rockin the 305 till I blow it up then have a 327 out of an older camaro to throw in next!

@clovischris559 perfect example: Chrysler 340 (small block) is snappy as hell, but itd get whooped in a street race by a Chrysler 383.
