"Aly, look at me." he said as he lifted my chin and looked intensely at me.
"I love you. You know that right?" he said.
"Yes, and I love you too." I said as a smile crept across my face.
"But, Hollywood Records are going to sponsor us and I have to do a world tour." he said.
My heart sunk as I heard those words. I attempted to smile.
"Thats...that's wonderful Nick...you-you deserve the opportuni-" I tried to say but I broke off crying.
He just held me and kissed my head.
"When are you leaving?" I mumbled in his chest.
"Um...as soon as we get back to El Salvador." he said.
"Oh....when did you find out?" I asked.
"Yesterday night..." he said looking down at his covered feet.
"Oh, okay. We will talk won't we? I mean...you'll call me right?" I said.
"Of course! Plus, you have Alex so it's not like I'm going to leave you all alone." he said as he nudged me.
"But Alex is not you Nicholas!" I said crying.
"Oh, come on! Don't play the victim now! He will be glad to have you all to himself. Even if you don't even look my way when he is around." he said raising his voice.
"What?! I do to! I always pay attention to you and I always try to make you feel good! He likes you Nick! He won't be happy when you leave! Don't make him the villain!" I yelled and stood up.
"Oh, no! I would never do that! He is the hero! Sorry, I forgot!" he stood up too.
"What?! He isn't the hero and he isn't the villain! Stop complicating everything!" I yelled.
"Complicating everything? He complicated everything! You know, he might not be a hero, but in your eyes he is your hero! And me? I'm just your damn boyfriend who always falls for your lies!" he yelled.
