also, playing with your mid fingers can damage the the valves becuase of a bend will make it harder to push down. which would kill the valve casing. you would have to buy a brand new valve or brand new valve case considering the amount of damage

Excellent tone. If you don't break that habit of playing with your mid fingers, you're going to have a tough time with solos later. Use your fingertips!

Yeah it is a besson. And a very good one! Tuned in Bb and fully compensated. I am not the euphonium specialist, but I like the sound of that very much played with a JK Mouthpiece for Basstrombone (which i play on the Bach 50). Hope for more resonance. I am working on a piece with harp and Euphonium, hope I can upload it soon!
