Shaquanda Cotton freed from jail

Shaquanda Cotton, 15, was jailed for pushing a hall monitor at her Paris, Texas high school. She might have remained in prison until she was 21 but a story written by Howard Witt of the Chicago Tribune raised a furor and she was released late last month.
