Wonder Woman by Corday

I wrote this song for my mother, and for me-- in writing the song it helped me experience and express the profound pain and joy she brings me, and transition from a place of dispair to a place of wonder. Although the song still brings tears to my eyes, I believe they are happy tears-- it should ultimately be uplifting— bring listener to a higher place of spiritual peace and acceptance. I hope this song will take you too, on a journey toward finding true joy at being one with the spirit of your loved one. You are... I am.
Long Beach-based singer songwriter Jennifer Corday's new music video Wonder Woman, from her new full-length album Superhero: Wonder Woman Edition. Corday wrote the song as a tribute to her mother Judy. Produced and Edited by Corday, the video was shot at the top of Signal Hill in Long Beach, and at Old Man's Beach in San Clemente. Camera Operator Michelle Mannisto captured some beautiful footage using a simple handheld camera (and a skateboard). Thanks to location scouts Tina and Tanner for turning us on to Old Man's Beach and our friend Michele Amrhein for assisting with sound!
