  • I thought I knew all of the Delphonics music. I never heard this one. Thanks.

  • oldschoolsinger you are right on point! However I would have a few Other Delfonic songs I would lay beside this such as Lying To Myself and Give to You. This Song though has a great Story line! Too Top it off That Muted Trumpet ala Miles Davis accompiment behind William Hart is Knee Dropping. Can bring Tears to Your eyes. I haven't played this song in almost twenty years. Almost forgot about it. Used To play this piece almost everyday when I 1st went through a break up 30 years ago.

  • another blast from the past! Thanks for posting!

  • I feel you bmwstan. He was something special. With A pen in his hand when it comes to love he truly brought to real true love experiences to life. Situations we've all been through became real on wax. The abilities of a lot of good performers and writers get overlooked. Believe or not Thom Bell's arangement's get overlooked though he has been given his prop's. In today's generation legendary writer's aren't given the time of day. Money & lack of insight has led to the decline today.

  • William Hart is the most underrated song writer of all time. point blank he wrote all of the Delphonic songs.

  • Out of all the cuts they did, this is their best one, in my opinion. For some reason it sounded different to me than the usual Thom Bell-produced stuff they did. This one sounded.......classier, for lack of a better word. William is afraid this bad woman who he doesn't want to admit still has a hold on him, might come back to him now that she knows he has someone else. An absolute gem.

  • This is my favorite Delfonic song, William Harts lyrics and Thom Bells arrangement was A true match made in Heaven!...RIP Randy Cain.
