Activision Classics - Boxing (KO Match)

I and my PlayStation go out for matches against each other. I can beat my PlayStation in this game pretty well, but this is the only one that I can that he can play in.

In Boxing, the players try to hit each other in order to accumulate the most points by the end of the time limit. If one player reaches 100 hits before time is over, that player scores a KO, and the game ends.

I did a pretty good job scoring this KO. I'll admit that I was feeling a little nervous/tense about it, but once I got multiple-string hits on him, I was feeling fine. I knocked out my PlayStation with 19 seconds on the clock. It's pretty nice.

It's good to hear that there are others out there who have played, and enjoyed, these games, too. I actually find it to be a nice surprise that someone who might be around my age had an Atari 2600, Akutare (I know you a bit since you're ChibiFighter's friend). It may have been your brother's, but it's nice to hear the stories of others on these games.

I'm 18, just like my profile says. I got these games recorded off from A Collection of Activsion Classics for the Atari 2600 for PlayStation. I got it as a birthday present shortly after getting my PlayStation for Christmas.

It may not look much now, but back in 1981, this was one of the best games to own on the Atari 2600. If you don't get how the game works, just read the description to find out.

I always loved how the boxers' heads bounce backwards when they get punched, and the "bang" sound effect. Someone on the programming team had probably seen "Raging Bull". :-)
