A very thought-provoking song. We should be thankful for what we have. Also, Joyce's hair is fabulous :)

@beaconmessages Who are we to judge someone because they have a hair style that differs from others. I think change is good. You may also want to notice that I Corinthians 11:15 states, “long hair.” This does not mean you should never cut your hair. Nowhere in the Bible does it forbid modest cutting, curling or styling in a feminine manner. Any style and many lengths of hair are appropriate if its length can be considered a “covering.”
Their singing is still unbelievable..now that is heavenly.

I sincerely feel sad for Christians who base what someone looks like or has chosen as a hair style to be the measuring stick of another's walk/ relationship with their Lord. Ever read The Sermon on the Mount in Matthew? The point the Lord was making is very simple, "what is YOUR motive?" Joyce..we've never met..but I love how faithful you are to the Lord with the songs you choose to sing with your family..the moments watching and listening to you sing are rich in blessing! Hot do' btw!! :)

@scaperoni Hi, this is not a BIIG deal to me but I do want to say something here. Also in the Bible it doesn't forbid to use drugs or jump from a tower. In this haircut I see contradictions to what you wrote here- it's not long hair, it's not a modest haircut (guess it depends on what you're used to and that is the problem here) and I still think that styling, coloring etc is more a culture thing then a Biblical thing, and we ARE called to JUDGE ALL things and keep what's good. Let's look UP!;0

Hair won't keep us from heaven, that's not the point, but by getting attention to yourself the messages does get lost. Try to think of how modest Christians look who have no desire to be looked at! But between heaven and hell I don't care about a haircut, yet, it's good to think and compare things with the Bible and don't take everything in- just like the world. That's my last word on this one!

More comments from the LEGALISTIC, one dimensional minded. Grow up and grow a brain people. Are your rules and regulations of your bondaged faith the only thing in your world that you have to be proud of? No wonder people look at Christians and shake their heads! Shame on you!

It's all right hoover4000, beaconmessages is one of those Christians that is bad to let the person lie in the ditch because they look bad or smell bad or have different color hair. Way to go there buddy, just drag the love of Jesus right through the traditional waters of self righteousness. that seems to fit real well with those who have forgotten that they were once lost too.

The change in hair did not affect her voice, please judge not.

My favorite part is when Joyce tells Jonathan "I Love You". i bet that those siblings got along rly well.
Good song but is it necessary to look so crazy when we represent a Lord that created us different from animals? Joyce looks like a chicken and I think it takes away from being HEAVEN MINDED and trying to point people not to yourself but to Christ! Christian ladies are asked to be modest and Christians altogether are called to be DIFFERENT because we set our eyes on the Heavenly things, not the earthly!!!

@beaconmessages IMHO, its just hair, personally, my haircut or haircolor has never kept me from being close to God
