You are a wise man my friend. I've been hit by flys square in the eye ridding open helmets @50mph and that's no walk in the park. Such a beautifull car warrants aviator googles and leather helmet. I'm looking foward to a detailed video tour of our machine!

I wore my helmet to keep the dust out of my eyes and to protect my ears from the engine and wind noise, and also to make sure the helmet did not interfere with the camera.
